This, like wii fit, is a joke. I recently played both at a friends house and my heart rate barely moved!! You want to get your heart pumping, (becasue it is the only way to lose weightand get in shape)? Then TURN OFF THE TV. Its the reason you put on pounds in the first place and more of it isn’t going to help you lose weight. Go for a walk, or better yet, run. I have had two kids and put on alot of weight with both (80lbs with the first) and I have worked it off (the hard way) both times , so I know its possible. Its just not easy or convenient and if you want it takes WORK! No video game is going to get you in shape, so don’t fall for the gimmeck!!

I put the game in the Wii, started it, realized you need to do alot of things at first to even set up the game. You need a tape measure to measure your body to enter it in the system. I gave up and haven’t used it yet. You need to have a lot of time to do this, I didn’t have the time. One of these days I will get around to it.

Compared to Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2009, it wins easily. However, compared to the programming of the Nintendo Wii Fit graphics and programming, it leaves a lot to be desired. It would be great if this type of program could be developed by the Nintendo folks for more advanced Wii Fit users who can’t go to the gym.

I recently purchased this as a second workout option to the wii fits own workout disc!
The reviews seemed pretty solid. Plus the only other one i was considering was Jillian Michaels workout, which i heard was very glitchy!!
So for the price of $20. i thought what the heck!!
My wife tried it the other week and firstly was suprised to find out it’s just an areobics dvd essentially!! i mean it is a game!! But all you do is spend nearly an hour putting in every little detail about yourself! (they ask you to measure all the areas of your body like your being fitted for a suit) then when things get going you just copy what she does on the screen!
OH YEAH and did i mention also THIS GAME DOESNT USE THE WII FIT BALANCE BOARD!!! I guess it was made before the wii fit perhaps!! If not thats really stupid! especially because just standing on the wii fit board would have taking away a lot of the tedious work you had to do of putting in every little detail!
So in conclusion!! This game has some great reviews! Plus i’m sure the workouts are good!! So if you dont want to spend money on a wii fit, or dont have one, but want a cheap workout dvd/game THIS IS FOR YOU!!
If however you have the wii fit, STICK WITH THE WORKOUT GAME IT COMES WITH!! There’s nothing currently on the market thats better. Though EA is suppose to be coming out with something soon!!

I had high hopes for this after reading reviews, especially after hearing it was a bit more challenging than the WII fIT which i adore. I was happy about the ‘choosing a workout for you, based on your daily and general goals.’ The WII FIT is sadly lacking in this element, and i looked forward to something a bit more intuitive. (my personal fitness level is intermediate and i do alot of different things at the gym AND at home. I TYPICALLY WORKOUT FOR MORE THAN 30 MINUTES 4 TIMES A WEEK…fyi)
I find this workout oddly HARD to do yet BORING as all get out. i HAVE TRIED IT 5 TIMES WITH A DIFFERENT FOCUS EACH TIME…HOPING TO HIT ON SOMETHING GOOD. CAUTION+ I bought this assuming it used the balance board, which it doesnt. My fault for not being more zealous in my research.
There are about a million other workouts you could do with a DVD that are better and FAR MORE INTERESTING. There is absolutely no reason why you need a WII to do this. you do not use a balance board nor do you use the hand held controls. The aerobic sections are repetitive and stuff i was doing in bad jazzersize classes in the 80’s. I expected something new modern and upto date with all the technology out there. this is not it.
I can measure my own weight and thighs….i dont need a cartoon to tell me to do so. The Wii fit has lovely and fun ‘tests’ which actually tell you something abt the movement of your body and your BMI. UGH! i could go on….but at the risk of annoying people ,i wont. Just one more thing….THE YOGA IS AWEFUL IN SO MANY WAYS TO COUNT.
Totally disappointing. SO SUE ME,i HATE IT AS MUCH AS GILLIAN MICHAELS.
